soundCanvas is an interactive art installation. It allows participants in the space explore the sonic qualities of a circuit embedded into a painted canvas using light, and a "circuit sniffer" - Nicolas Collins' coined term for a device used to sonically amplify electromagnetic interference. The circuit sniffer can be used to explore different areas, while light influences the photocells placed in integral parts of the circuit. The circuit itself is a variation on the Atari Punk Console with an added sequencer to create rhythmic patterns.
